Lemuel B. Cockrum

Lemuel “Bimbo” B. Cockrum, age 68 of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully June 18, 2019. Beloved father of Veray (Ron) Wiley and beloved step-father of Holly (Juan) Trevino. Cherished grandfather of Desiray, Devan, Derek, Analesia, Ashley, and Robert. Great grandfather of Xander and Xylianna. Dear brother of Wendy (Jeff) Stapleton. Lemuel was preceded in death by his siblings; Marlea Winn, and Lowell “Dean” Cockrum, and his parents; Lowell and Eva Cockrum. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Lemuel retired from McCormick Place after 30 years of service. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
