Lena A. Jacobs nee Schaap, age 93, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Julius M. Jacobs. Loving mother of Henry (Beverly) Jacobs and Lois (Jim) Slager. Proud grandmother of three granddaughters: Jennifer (Chad) Tolstedt, Jacquelyn Beth (Chris) Leary, and Terri Marie (Tom) Zec. Dearest sister of Johanna Schaap and John (Betty) Schaap. Preceded in death by eight siblings: Henry Schaap, Adrianna Voss, Jacoba Lenting, Gerrit Schaap, Jacob Schaap, Art Schaap, Cornelia Zwier and Bertha Anema . Visitation Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at First Christian Reformed Church (16248 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL) with services conducted by Rev. Ben Tol. Interment Skyline Memorial Park - Monee, IL.
