Leona Mae Jacobs

Leona Mae Jacobs, nee Van Drunen, age 92, of Elmhurst, IL, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 27, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Marvin Jacobs.  Loving mother of Rebecca (Rev. Peter) Semeyn, Jack (Darlene) Jacobs, Kendra (Roger) Heerema, and Jeff (Carmen) Jacobs. Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bernard Louis Van Drunen who died in infancy, Joyce Ellen (late Roy) Ward, the late Bernice Grace Van Drunen, and the late Bernard Louis (Joanne) Van Drunen.   Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Luke and Agnes Van Drunen. Leona loved the Lord and was a wonderful example to her family of her devout faith in the way that she lived her life.
