Leonard "Corkey" Edwards, age 71, of Steger, IL passed away October 4, 2006. Corkey is survived by his wife, Yvonne nee Kukla Edwards, two sisters, Helen (Matthew) Videkovich and Vivien (Orlando) Bellini, two brothers, Ralph (Beverly) Edwards and Wayne (Carol) Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger). Memorial mass Wednesday Oct. 11, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Liborius Catholic Church (35th St. & Halsted Blvd., Steger). Inurnment service private.
