Leonard H. Prystalski

Leonard H. Prystalski, age 94, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Carole P. Prystalski, nee Brooks. Loving father of Karen (late John) Brennan, Sharon Prystalski, Alice (late John) Arena, Carolyn (Ben) Bautista, Lawrence (Carrie) Prystalski, Christopher Prystalski, Phyllis (Stu) Lubor, MaryLou (Gary) Quaranta, the late Jill Prystalski, Janice Prystalski, and Jennifer (Dominic) D’Ambrosio. Proud grandfather of 21 grandchildren and one late grandchild; great-grandfather of 12 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Eugene (late Marilyn) Prystalski and the late Carol Prystalski. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Leonard James and Angeline Prystalski. Leonard was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, leaving for a 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
