Lester S. Van Deursen

Lester S. Van Deursen, age 95, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021.  Beloved husband of Shirley Van Deursen, nee De Young.  On May 6, Les and Shirley would have celebrated 72 years of marriage.  Loving father of Donald (Noreen) Van Deursen and the late Leanne (Dominic) Milano.  Cherished grandfather of Jodi Bult, Christopher Milano, Alia Sullivan, Corine Milano, and the late Andy Van Deursen.  Great-grandfather of Sara, Piper, and Kenzie.  Dear brother of the late Ken (late Frieda) Van Deursen, late Nell Evensen, late Bill (Carole) Van Deursen, and the late Faye.  Preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Alice Van Deursen.  Les was a proud United States Marine WWII veteran and a longtime member of First Reformed Church of South Holland.  He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at First Reformed Church, 15924 South Park Ave, South Holland, IL, with Rev. James Oord and Rev.
