Liese J. DeVries, nee Schrock, age 65, late of Dyer, IN, formerly of Tuscola, and South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 24, 2022.  Loving wife of Frederick H. DeVries.  Devoted mother of Amy (Zac) George and Jeff DeVries.  Proud  grandmother of Theo and Iris George.  Dearest daughter of Janis, nee Pfeifer and the late Adlai Schrock.  Dear sister of Gary (Cindy) Schrock, Kevin Schrock, and Teresa Woodworth; sister-in-law of Nell DeVries, Maggie (Dave) Vos, Mary Ann DeVries, and the late Joyce Bult.  Kind aunt of Penny (Brad) Womacks, Kasey (Diana) Schrock, Cody Schrock, Andrew (Beth), A.J., Adam, and Alysia Woodworth.

Visitation Friday, July 29, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Rev. Richard Blauw officiating.  Interment Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Arcola Township Cemetery – Arcola, IL.
