Lillie Mae Reno, nee O’Banner, age 85, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Loving mother of Bonnie O’Banner, Nadine (Bobby Lindsey) Robinson, James Robinson, Arthur Robinson, and Priestley (Marvis) Robinson. Proud grandmother of Geppetto O’Banner, Gail O’Banner, Dashawn Robert, Alicia Robinson, Rail Hibbler, Adam Hibbler, James Robinson Nichols, Nicole Robinson, Rashad Robinson, Danielle Carter, Michael Washington, Jessica Lewis, and Genette O'Banner and great-grandmother of Sidney Bryce Sanders, Alex Javier Sanders - Navy, Titus Israel Sanders - Air Force, Douglas Devon Dawkins, Delicia Nadine Dawkins, Kamaurion Roberts (Amauri), Christian Harris (CJ), Amouree Harris (MaMa), Kamaurah Roberts (Babii Doll), Rahquel Raymoni Roberts, Honest Roberts Howse, Nevaeh Smith, Ta´ziah Smith, Rail Hibbler Jr., and Shameaka Hibbler. Dear sister of LC, George, Thelma, Almond Jean, Dorothy, Deloris, Clinton Earl, Louise, Willie Lee O’Banner, Bernice Freeman, and Charles Taylor. Kind aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews . Second cousin of Lula Deloris O'Banner. Lillie Mae was born in Yazoo, Mississippi on September 13, 1937 to Adam and Luella O’Banner who preceded her in death. She was baptized at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and came to Chicago in July of 1957. Lillie Mae was known for her smile, her fashion sense (she was always well dressed!), and her love of her family. She was a very giving person and always looking out for others. She was a hard worker for Wilson Jones for over 18 years and in taking care of her family. Lillie Mae was loved by all who knew her she will be missed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Christian Reformed Church, 222515 Torrence Ave., Sauk Village, IL.
