Loving father of Doreen (Earl) Groenewold. Devoted grandfather of Joseph (Lori), Daniel (Amanda) and Philip (Kristi) Groenewold; great-grandfather of Ben and Hope Groenewold. Dear brother of Marge (Hank) Krygsheld and the late Robert (Elene) De Bok. Visitation Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Funeral service Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with services conducted by Rev. Daniel Svendsen. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL.
