Loraine Elliott

Loraine Elliott nee Moutrey, age 86, of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2026. Beloved wife of the late William Elliott. Loving step-mother of Faye (Rick) Krause, Kathie (James) Simmons, Rick (Late Patricia) Elliott, and the late Margaret (late Joseph) Towson. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Loraine is also survived by her loving caregiver and friend Brenda Faris. Loraine was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 1 sister and parents; Henry and Freida Moutrey. Loraine was a lifetime member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She retired after many years of working at an insurance agency in Chicago, IL. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation, Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL 60475.
