Loren M. Hodson, age 78 a life long resident of Crete, Il. passed away August 31. 2011. Beloved husband of Andree Joyce Hodson nee Jeney. Loving father of Laura (Luke) Anderson and Eileen (Jeff) Baker. Cherished grandfather of Jeney, Lucas, Loren, Jessica and Melissa, great-grandfather of Peyton, Dylan, and Keira. Visitation Friday September 2nd from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Il. ) Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Mr. Hodson was a retired postal carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, a member of the Crete Amvets and the Crete Township Home Owners Association.
