Loretta Schweiger, age 78, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away peacefully December 2, 2014. Loving mother of Samuel, Joseph (Priscilla), Charles (Kathryn), Gregory, Robert, Daniel, Diane (Roy) Corrigan, and Edward (Tammy) Schweiger. Cherished grandmother of twelve and great-grandmother of five. Dear sister of Dorothy Brown and Virginia Fox. Preceded in death by her dear husband, Paul Schweiger and by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. James Catholic Church in Sauk Village. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
