Loretta J. Wilkening

Loretta Wilkening (nee Howe), age 89, of Russellville, Arkansas, formerly of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Howard M. Wilkening for 62 years. Loving mother of Cathy (Jim) Taylor, of Russellville, AR, Cindy (Rich) Berki, of Branson West, MO, Sue (Brian) Souza, of Auburn, AL, and Laura (Jerry) Mulvihill, of Alsip, IL. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert (Gail) Howe, late Betty Kasper, late Charles Howe, late William Howe and the late Norma Simone.

Visitation, Wednesday, July 13th, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL). Funeral, Thursday, July 14th, 10:00 a.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel. Interment St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery – Beecher, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Beecher, IL.
