Lulu "Lula" Kemp, nee Wieringa, 96 of Steger, IL, passed away January 18, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Kemp. Loving mother of Kenneth Kemp, Marilyn (Jim) Patrevito and the late Ronald Kemp. Cherished grandmother of four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Lulu was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Visitation Monday January 21, 2013 from 3:00 until the time of service 7:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Interment private at Evergreen Hill Cemetery - Steger, IL. Lula was a member of the American Legion Post 521 ladies Auxillary and the Naomi Circle of First Congregational Church.
