Malinda A. Cockrum

Malinda A. Cockrum, nee Austin, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Lowell D. Cockrum. Loving mother of Dena (Scot Stenger) Cockrum and James (Rita) Cockrum. Cherished grandmother of Danielle Jane Cockrum and Jackson Wisniewski. Dear sister of Alice Sanders and Malcolm (Barbara) Austin. Preceded in death by parents Leonard and Lucille Austin and 10 siblings. Malinda enjoyed working at BorgWarner for over 25 years until her retirement. Malinda was loved by many and her wild spirit will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Malinda’s life will be held at a later date.
