Manuel G. “Manny” Montoya , of Schererville, IN, formerly of Sauk Village, and South Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully April 29, 2020.  Loving husband of Analicia Montoya, nee Navia.  Devoted father of Martha Montoya, Paul Robles, Christina Robles, and the late Manuel Montoya II.  Proud grandfather of Sophia, Adrian, Naomi, and Paula.  Dear brother of Ruben, Norma, Andrew G., John, Gloria Montoya, and the late Margaret Cervantz, and late Humberto Montoya.  Also survived by his beloved dog, Chica.  Preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Manuela Montoya.

Due to current health precautions, a private immediate family visitation  will be held Monday, May 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the prayer service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN (live streamed from Smits Funeral Home website – go to Facebook link at www.SMITSFH.com).  Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.  In lieu in flowers, please consider a donation to Vietnam Agent Orange Relief P.O.
