Marcelline K. Fukuda

Marcelline K. Fukuda, nee Szymanski, age 58, of Calumet City, IL, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020.  Beloved wife of Harry Fukuda. Dear daughter of Lola and the late Chester Szymanski. Best friend of Sherry Strausser, Lori Cavanaugh and Veronica Lara.  Also survived by her three pugs Sugar, Dolly, Koko. Marcelline was raised and attended school in Hobart, IN. She received her degree in Computer Science from Purdue University Northwest. She enoyed a thirty plus year career in consulting, working locally, and with IBM traveling widely around the country. Marcelline’s current business pursuits included Marketing Services Representative for the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay, as well as an Independent Consultant for Color Street Nails.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. (In consideration of others, masks are required.)
