Margaret "Peggy" A. Packard Ott, nee Scharlau, age 81, of Thornton, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 12, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William Ott. Loving mother of Dale (Roberta) Packard, Gary Packard, Michael (Cathi) Packard and Lisa (Andy) Kerman. Cherished grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Elizabeth (late William) Serne, Naomi Fell, and the late Norman (Sheri) Scharlau. Also preceded in death by her first husband Dale Packard. Peggy retired from Montgomery Wards in 1994 after more than 25 years of service. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed gardening, ceramics, & bowling. Peggy also loved to dance, especially the Jitterbug.
