Marguerite J Kelly

Marguerite Joan Brandy Kelly nee Stanton, age 79, widow of Walter T. Kelly, Jr. passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013. She was the first wife of Robert John Henry Brandy. She was born April 27, 1933 in Rogers, AR to Schooley and Ruth (Girod) Stanton. She is survived by her children Robert (Debi) Brandy and Diana (Marlin) Carr; stepdaughters: Shawn (Mark) Downs and Kathleen Kelly. Eight Grandchildren: Christopher Carr, Nicholas (Dana) Carr, Tina (David) Morse, Micci (Tim) Vandomelen, Dana (Kevin) Krieger, Kelly Louise Downs, Olivia Downs, and Jeremy Kelly. Eight Great grandchildren: Alexis and Austin, Taylor and Payton, Kaylee and Hope, Bailey and Grant. She is also survived by her step-father Donald B. Smith, her brother Michael (Lydia) Stanton and step-brother James (Sue) Smith. Visitation, Friday, March 1, 2013 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL 60473. Funeral Service, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church (508 Chicago Rd., Thornton, IL) with services conducted by Rev. Harold Wahl. Interment private. Peggy was a very active volunteer in the community and in the Markham Lutheran Church for over 60 years.
