Marian Van Someren, nee Witvliet age 89, of Dyer, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Franklin C. Van Someren. Loving mother of Bernard “Bernie” (Janet) Van Someren, Judith (Roger) Gill, Marvin (Valerie) Van Someren. Proud grandmother of six, great-grandmother of 11. Dear sister of the late Joanne (late Gordon) Veld, Gertrude (late Norman) Van Wienen, and Henrietta (late Ralph) Troller; sister-in-law of Sylvia (Bernard) DeGraff. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Visitation Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Memorial service Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church (3500 Glenwood-Lansing Rd. Lansing, IL) with services conducted by her son, Pastor Marvin Van Someren. Private interment prior to the memorial service at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
