Marilyn Anna Figura

Marilyn Anna Figura, nee Weiss, age 84, of Dyer, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 28, 2023.  Loving wife of the late Joseph J. Figura.  Devoted mother of Kimberly (Richard) Faulkner.  Proud grandmother of Aaron Faulkner and Morgan (Matthew) Szews.  Dearest sister of the late Dolores (late Corwyn) Burns; sister-in-law of Dolores (late Robert) Bayda, and the late Edward (Angie) Figura, late Stanley (late Elaine) Figura, and late Mary (late William) Benjamin.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Nora Weiss.  Marilyn was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home James E. Janusz, Director 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.  Visitation Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 9:15 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Directly at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN, with Rev. Leo Gajardo officiating.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
