Mario Cianchetti Sr., age 86, of Crete, Illinois, formerly of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully April 25, 2018. Beloved husband of Mary Lou Cianchetti (nee Peters). Loving father of Mario (Deborah) Cianchetti Jr., Debra (Robert) Knight, and Patrick Cianchetti. Cherished grandfather of Echo Lynn Cianchetti, Felicia Marie Cianchetti, Kim (Daniel) Borak, Patrick Cianchetti Jr, Nick Cianchetti, and Stephanie Cianchetti. Great grandfather of four.Mario was preceded in death by his siblings; Concenzio, Americo, Gilbert, Edmund, Genevieve, Quindo and his parents Dominic and Angelina Cianchetti. Mario Sr. was a retired corporate accountant and proud Veteran of the US Navy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
