Beloved husband of Betty Scampini nee Nowak, loving father of Jerry (Mary) of Park Forest, IL, Richard (Suzanne) of Dyer, IN, Sandra (Bill) Smigel of Crete, IL . Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Chuck), Michael, Richard N., and Alison Scampini, Daniel and Dylan Smigel. great grandfather of Casey, Christopher and Corina Rose Lassiter. Huth in Matteson, IL for 35 years and a bricklayer, he was a WWII Marine Veteran, survivor of Iwo Jima, past Chaplain, Service Officer, and Commandant of the South Suburban Detachment of the Marine Corps. League #663, member of the VFW Post 2825, National Education Association of Illinois, and the Retired Teachers Association. Memorial to Illinois Veterans Home of Manteno appreciated.
