Marjorie G. Verbeek, nee Schaap, age 90, of South Holland, IL passed away Monday, November 9, 2020.  Beloved wife of the late John “Joe” Verbeek. Loving mother of Elaine (John) Cope, Debra (Jon) Haak, Sharon (Prakesh) Ramsamooj, John Robert Verbeek, and late infant son John.  Dear grandmother of Johnny and Madison Cope, Crystal (Kyle) Lute, Rachel, Matthew, David, and the late Steven Haak, and Michael Ramsamooj.  Dear sister of Luke (late Pauline) Schaap and Richard (Marcia) Schaap.  Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents Dick and Esther Schaap.

Visitation Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN with Rev. Daniel Svendsen officiating. (The funeral service will be live streamed from our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SmitsFH ).
