Mark A. Lollock

M ark A. Lollock, age 63, of Gary, IN, formerly of Lansing, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021.  Dearest brother of Debbie Varga, Donna Kobar, Gary Lollock, Greg Lollock, the late Steve Lollock, and the late Joanne Gianoli; stepbrother of Tom Roach, Jim Roach, Rob Roach, Mary Panik, and Suze Jones.  He was also a loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Therese Lollock and late stepmother Wilma Lollock.  Mark was a huge animal lover, especially to his late dogs “Buddy” and “Max”.  He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes, he was very compassionate, and was the first one to lend a helping hand, with a great sense of humor even through his most trying of times.  Mark was also an electrician by trade.

Memorial visitation Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Deacon Tom Gryzbek officiating.  Inurnment Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Cemetery – Glenwood, IL.
