Marlene Fagerburg, 77, of Lynwood IL passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 27, 2023. Preceded in death by her late husband of 36 years Dale Fagerburg. Loving mother of Tammy (Tom) Stockover, Bob Geinosky (Ana) John Geinosky (Annette) and Laurie Taylor (Rusty) Loving grandmother of Candas Geinosky (Pat), Michael Geinosky, Chrissy (Bill) Powers, Jim Stockover (Katelynn), Bobby Stockover, Dan (Keri) Geinosky, Becca Stockover Ben Geinosky, Steven Geinosky and Kyle Geinosky. Great Grandmother of Avery, Isabel and the late Nathan. Devoted sister of Cheryl (Rich) Gubala, Charles (Rojean) Hisson sister in laws Diane Hisson and Sheila Hisson and her late siblings John, Doris, Ethelreda, Joseph, Rosemary, Carol and Janice. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Survived by longtime friend and caregiver Randy Jones.

Visitation to be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 3:00 pm until time of Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois, 60475. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Chicago Heights Animal Shelter appreciated.
