Marlene J. Jabaay

Marlene Jabaay, nee Van Heest, age 87, of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2023.  Loving wife of the late Harry Jabaay. Devoted mother of Diane (Larry) Disterheft, Karen (Jon) Gross, and Bryan (Olivia) Jabaay.  Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Disterheft, Timothy (Brittany) Disterheft, Jessica (Skylar) Schwartz, Chris Disterheft, Cody Disterheft, Caitlin Disterheft, Leah (James) Scanlon, Hannah Gross, Sarah Gross, Bodhi Jabaay and Arlo Jabaay; great-grandmother of Cecelia, Harvey, Maeve, Clark, Awan, and Audrey.  Dear sister of Gary (Sheila)Van Heest, the late Cindy DeJong, late Wilma (late Clayton) DeVries, and the late Madge (late Ray) Aardema. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews.

A committal service will take place on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL, with Mr. Arie Van Ek officiating.   Memorials may be given to PASS Pregnancy Care Centers.
