Martin J. Venn, age 76, of Crete, Illinois, formerly of South Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Beloved husband of Merry C. Venn, nee Litherland. Loving father of Victoria (David) DeBoer and Jennifer (Branden) Johnson. Cherished grandfather of Emma and Ethan DeBoer. Dear brother of Julia Venn. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Martin retired from Illinois Bell, and was an avid train enthusiast and member of the British Railway Society. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
