Marvin J. “Bud” Huisenga, age 82, of Portage, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, and Pompano Beach, FL, passed away peacefully Friday, November 16, 2018. Loving husband of Janet Huisenga, nee Hoving. Devoted father of James (Toni) Huisenga, Dan (Brenda) Huisenga, Jill (Steven) Voss, Thomas Huisenga, Patti (Vince) Angotti, and Pamela (Grant) Carley. Proud grandfather of 11; great-grandfather one. Dear brother of Celia (Tom) Beishuizen, and Ron (Miriam) Huisenga. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Martin and Edna Huisenga.

Visitation Monday November19, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN, with Rev. Ben Kappers officiating. In memory of Bud, Memorial contributions may be given to the Barnabas Foundation, 3801 Eagle Nest Dr., Crete, IL 60417 and marked for the "Eastern Ukrainian Theological Seminary."
