Marvin J. Huisman, age 86, of South Holland, IL passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Beloved husband of Ruth Voogd Huisman (nee Vander Beek) and the late Lorraine Huisman (nee Froehlich). Loving father of Sharon (Marty) Asebedo, Larry (Nancy) Huisman of Chicago Heights, IL and the late Marvin R. Huisman and step-father of Lisa (Paul) Sikkema, Ann (Jim) Hill, and Julia Voogd. Devoted grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5. Dear brother of Marion (late Tom) Sperling, Tom (Fran) Huisman, Ray (Evelyn) Huisman, late Peter (late Ann) Huisman, late Agnes (late Ed) Pruim, and the late Ida Huisman. Funeral service Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Christian Reformed Church, 833 E, 168th St. South Holland, IL with services conducted by Rev. Lugene Bazuin.
