Marvin E. Pals

Marvin E. Pals, age 88 of DeMotte, IN formerly of South Holland, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2021.  Beloved husband of Ruth Pals, nee Vlietstra.  Loving father of Steve (Julie) Pals, the late Jerry (Chris) Pals, Kenny (Dawn) Pals, Marla (Mike) Gregory and step-father of Tammi Klawitter, Wade (Amy) Zeilenga, and Tim Zeilenga.  Devoted grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of late Shirley (late Bernard) Olthoff, late Joyce (Ed) Kramer, and the late Don (Sharon) Pals.  Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Della Pals.  Marv drove truck for many years for Pals Cartage and Witvoet Trucking.  He loved to hunt and fish, woodworking, dartball and spending time with his family.  He was loved and will be missed.

Visitation Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.  (Masks required).
