Mary Margaret Chorba

Mary Margaret Chorba, nee O’Donnell, age 66, of St. John, IN, formerly of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 19, 2024.  Loving wife of Richard Chorba.  Devoted mother of Christina (Matthew) Kras, Nicholas Chorba, and Hannah Chorba.  Cherished grandmother of Kyle Fahler, and Mason McLain; great-grandmother of Kendall Fahler.  Dearest sister of Terri (Art) Scism, Patti (Gary) Teske, and the late Robert O’Donnell, and Jane O’Donnell.  Kind aunt of many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many dear friends.  Preceded in death by her parents Robert M. and Mary Ellen O’Donnell.  Mary was loved and adored by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Memorial visitation Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, James E. Janusz – Director, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.), Dyer, IN, with Rev. Patrick Gawrylewski officiating,
