Mary E. Johnson

Mary Elizabeth Johnson, nee Hill, beloved child of God, passed from this earthly life into the very presence of her Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 27, 2021.  Beloved wife of Paul H. Johnson, who passed just a few hours after her.  Loving mother of Beverly (Barry) Waters, Nancy (Don) Ciliax, Philip (Julie) Johnson, and Wendy Johnson.  Cherished grandmother of Kyle (Ginny Mies) Waters, Kellen (Lindsay) Waters, Ryan (Bekah) Ciliax, Catherine (Nate) Markette, Erin (Ryan) Hannas, Christina Johnson, the late Trace Waters, and the late Kayla Waters.  Cherished great-grandmother of 12.  Dear sister of Jacque (Gale) Hulslander and Jeannine (Andy) Marken.  Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Marian Hill.  Mary was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162 ^nd St, South Holland, IL with Rev. Steve Miller officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL. The service will be live streamed from our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SmitsFH
