Matthew B. Sobut

Matthew B. Sobut, age 92, of Crete, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021.  Beloved husband of Carol J. Sobut, nee Rosinko.  Loving father of Thomas (Dorothy Downs) Sobut and Timothy Sobut.  Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Elena, Matthew, and Sam.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Sam, John, and Walter.  Matthew was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Funeral visitation to be held Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Smits - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd.
