Mattie Pearl Summers

Mattie Pearl Summers, nee Holder, of Crete, IL age 89, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late Arlis Summers. Loving mother to Shannon Bishop, Patricia “Susie” (late Patrick) Matthias, Michael (Laurie) Summers, and Kimberly (Leslie) Nutter. Cherished grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Helen (Steve) Wood. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Otha and Addie Holder, 7 brothers & 3 sisters. Mattie was loved by many and her presence will be dearly missed.
