Matusala “Ann” Newbury, age 80, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017. Beloved wife of Jesse Newbury. Loving mother of David (Ruth) Newbury, Gary (Pam) Newbury, and Brenda (Billy) Cross. Cherished grandmother of Gary (Stephanie) II, Justin (Carly), and Andrew (Ashlee); great-grandmother of Mason, Ella, and Addison. Dear sister of Sarah Cardin. Ann was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Ann retired from St. James Hospital after 30 years of service as a surgical supply technician, and she continued to volunteer at St. James.
