Maude Jean Wolak, nee Ebbens, age 84, of Crete, IL, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020.  Beloved wife of Robert F. Wolak. Loving mother of Lindsay (Kevin) Nunn and Laurel (John) Van Proyen.  Proud grandmother of Mollyanne Nunn, Dr. Annie (Connor) Klingbeil, and Robert Nunn.  Dear sister of the late Martha (late Edward) Kirner.  Preceded in death by her parents Herman and Martha (nee O’Hara) Ebbens.

Visitation Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN with Pastor Sam Hamstra officiating.  Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
