Maynard L. Ashley, age 94, of South Holland, IL passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017. Beloved husband of Lorraine Ashley, nee Stenzel. Devoted father of Robert (Nancy) Ashley, Patricia (William Mock) Ashley, Donald (Lisa) Ashley, James (Beth) Ashley, and Barbara (Robert Seaney) Ashley. Loving grandfather of Colleen (Matt) Taylor, James (Amy) Ashley Jr., Nicole (Michael Quien) Ashley, Michael (Jenna Gagen) Ashley, Jonathan Ashley, Jennifer Ashley, and the late Meaghan Ashley. Loved like a father by the Enri and Casper families. A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held on August 19. Inurnment at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Mr. Ashley, a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and a retired insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Co., lived a full life with family and friends.
