Maynard D Kutz, age 78, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia R. Kutz nee Hassberg. Loving father of of Cynthia (Raymond) Vinicky, Susanne (Delfino) Rivera and Kevin (Allison) Haseman. Cherished grandfather of Denise Most, Sasha(Eric Roop) Holl , Zachery Rivera, Ashley (Chase) Haseman-Lively, Ryan (Sarah) Haseman, Brad (Shawna) Rivera and Jerilynn (Jack) Kalwasinski. Great grandfather of eight. Dear Brother of Harold (late Patricia) Kutz; brother-in-law of Judy (late Willard) Kutz. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Maynard was preceded in death by two sisters Lucille Kutz and Grace (Gordon) DuBois brother Harry Kutz. Visitation Saturday April 26, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475. A Memorial Service to be held for both Maynard and Sylvia Kutz on May 17, 2014 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul''s Lutheran Church 330 Highland Avenue Chicago Heights, IL.
