Medarda "Mary" M. Madija

Medarda "Mary" M. Madija, age 66, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 in Glenwood, IL. She was born on August 10, 1949 in the Province of Northern Samar Bobon, Phillipines. She was preceded in death by her parents: Theodoro and Juana Pascuala Madija. She is survived by her former spouse Fred L. Wilson, Jr.; her daughters Raneigh M. Carter and Miki L. Wilson; her grandchildren, Francis M. McCall, Stephanie R. McCall, Roderick E. Hatcher, Jr., Marcus A. Carter and Anastasia P. Carter; and her great-grandchildren, Laila R. Robbins, Jada L. Hogans, and Tori A. Hatcher. Medarda was a remarkably strong woman full of life and energy. She was a loving and protective mother and loyal friend. Mary's selflessness, enormous personality, and infectious smile will be sorely missed by her entire family and those who had the pleasure of being in her presence for brief moment in time.
