Melvin H. Bougher

Melvin H. Bougher, age 90, of Dyer, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Helen L. Bougher, nee Ott. Loving father of Ronald (Wanda) Bougher, Lori Bougher and Ray (Nina) Bougher. Devoted grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Maude Bougher. Melvin was a United States Army Veteran. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.
