Melvin C. Haseman age 96 of Albuquerque, New Mexico formerly of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully August 31, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Wandalee Haseman nee Wolf. Loving father of Gregory (Jean) Haseman, Rochelle (James) Strong and Jaclyn (Edward) Powers. Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation Saturday September 7, 2013 from 9:00 until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Il.
