Melvin Koster, age 88, of Crown Point, IN passed away Friday, November 26, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Joan Koster, nee DeBreaux. Loving father of James (Laurie) Koster, Kenneth (late Colleen) Koster, and Susan (Jeff) Drenth.  Proud grandfather of Kevin Koster, Becca (Hunter) Pritchett, Kenny Koster, Katie (Humberto) Saucedo, Ryan Drenth, Kyle (Amber) Drenth, and Megan Drenth and great-grandfather of Lily.  Dear brother of Gladys (late Art) DeYoung.  Preceded in death by his parents Peter and Effie Koster.  Visitation, Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E.162 ^nd St. (Rt.6/159 ^th St.) South Holland, IL with Pastor Judy Engel officiating.
