Michael J. Barone, age 64, of Springfield, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Loving father of Michelle J. Barone, Brenda M. Barone, and the late Michael V. Barone.  Cherished grandfather of Bianca Martin, Summer Barone, Madison Heintz, Paige Heintz, Eliana Lopez, and Daniel Lopez.  Dear brother of Dorothy Ofcharik and Ersila Smith. Dear uncle of Anthony Silciliano and Michael Smith. Proceeded in death by his parents Micheal and Dorothy Barone. Michael retired from Union Pacific and was a proud United States Navy Veteran.
