Michael A. Bondeson

Michael A. Bondeson , age 81, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Beloved husband to the late Earlene Bondeson. Loving father of Barbara (Neil) Buckelew. Proud grandfather of Melina and Michael. Great-grandfather of Athena and Dean. Kind uncle of Scott, Christian, Larry, Bindu, and Valerie. Dear brother of Barbara (Henry) Taylor. Preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Marie Bondeson.

Michael moved from Chicago to Las Vegas where he remained for 30 years until his return to Chicago in 2024.  He and his former wife Donna adopted their daughter Heather and their son Ray. Through the years while married, Donna and Michael fostered over 25 children on a short-term emergency basis. He also enjoyed vacation cruises, and was a baseball enthusiast since playing on a Little League team in Chicago as a pitcher. Michael was also an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.

His family will be joining together on his 82nd birthday at Wrigley Field to celebrate Michael's life.  Anyone interested in attending should be in contact with Barbara Taylor for details.
