Michael R. Dozier

Michael R. Dozier, age 70, longtime resident of Calumet City, IL, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 24, 2026. Loving husband of Janice Dozier, nee Matlock. Devoted father of Michael Dozier. Dear brother of Renee Perino, and the late Kenneth (Jodi) Dozier. Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Rosemary Dozier. Mike enjoyed cooking and gardening, he was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mike’s prayer service at 1:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, James E.
