Michael Fuentes, age 64, of Highland, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Lydia Fuentes, nee Gonzalez. Loving dad of Vanessa (late Coach Dan) Salus, Johnny (Melissa) Fuentes, and Michael Jr. (Tracy) Fuentes. Proud grandpa of Larissa, Gunnar, Angel, Allynah, Kaylie, Shane, Ciarra, Mila, and Michael III. Dear brother of Larry Fuentes, James (Lois) Fuentes, Gladys Fuentes, Maria Fuentes, and Ann Fuentes. Kind uncle to nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Ignacio and Christine Fuentes, and siblings Evelyn, Ralph, and Johnny Fuentes. Visitation Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. Interment Private. Mr. Fuentes was a Marine Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions c/o the Fuentes Family appreciated.
