Michael J. Mitamura

Michael J. Mitamura, age 61, suddenly, late of Crown Point formerly of Dyer, IN, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026.  Loving husband of Virginia A. “Ginny” Mitamura, nee Brosseau.  Dear brother of David (Kim) Mitamura.  Kind uncle of Ryan (Fatima) Mitamura and Connor Mitamura.  Cherished companions, dogs Maisie and Nikka, and cat Savvy.  Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ellen Mitamura.  Mike was a loving husband, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed. 

Memorial visitation Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. directly at Faith Church 100 W. 81st Ave. Dyer, IN, with Rev. Andy Nearpass officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations c/o the Mitamura family appreciated.
