Michael P. Murphy, age 58, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 26, 2026. Loving son of Beatrice E. and the late David L. Murphy. Dearest brother of David Murphy, Christine (Derrick) Lott, and Erin Murphy. Kind and cherished uncle of Courtney, Drew, and Breanne; great-uncle of Alena. Dear nephew of many loving aunts and uncles. Michael was loved by his family, and friends and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Monday, August 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Michael’s funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. directly at Christ Our Savior/St. Jude the Apostle Church 880 E. 154th St. South Holland, IL, with Rev. Gosbert officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
