Michael A. Palhegyi

Michael “Mickey” A. Palhegyi, age 61, of Sauk Village, IL, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020. Loving father of Lisa (Matt) Palhegyi, Nicole Palhegyi, and Brandon Palhegyi. Step-father of Mark Brown. Devoted grandfather of Robert Jordan, Dominique Mayo, Brookelyn Rothgeb, Michael Rothgeb Jr., Scarlett Galvan, and Alex Wilson; great-grandfather of Genesis Jordan. Fond brother of the late Jack Palhegyi, Bob (Ranee) Palhegyi, Karen (Ray) Schaden, Tom Palhegyi, Joyce (John) Jackson, and Lori D’Anna. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Margaret Palhegyi.

Visitation Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 4:30 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN.  Mickey was a hard worker, an avid fisherman and grillmaster.  He loved his Tyskies.  Mickey was a dedicated member of Moose Lodge 828, his second family and home.
